National Drive Electric Week brings sustainable cars to UCLA
Students and staff will have a chance to test-drive electric vehicles on campus during a National Drive Electric Week event Tuesday. UCLA Transportation, the UCLA Smart Grid Energy Research Center and Plug In America, a nonprofit educational organization that promotes the use of electrical vehicles, will host the program to encourage students to use alternative modes of transportation, according to a press release.
