UCLA alumnus Robert Myers appointed to UC Board of Regents

Gavin Newsom appointed UCLA alumnus and sports executive Robert Myers to the University of California Board of Regents on Friday.  There are 26 members on the Board of Regents, with 18 governor-appointed Regents, including Myers, who serve 12-year terms. UCLA to establish Latinx Success Center in support of academic, cultural community

Come January 2025, UCLA will have a Latinx Success Center. In December 2020, then-Chancellor Gene Block and then-Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Emily Carter announced the university’s plans to achieve federal Hispanic-Serving Institution status by 2025. Read more...
