Photo: A group of UCLA students meet almost every Friday to go “dumpster diving” for discarded food in the alley behind a Trader Joe’s near campus. The students have found dozens of eggs, lemon tarts, blueberries, strawberries and orange cranberry scones, among other edibles.

Will of students behind Diversity Initiative finds way to ballot
A group of more than 60 students filled Kerckhoff 417 at an undergraduate student government meeting earlier this month.
