Photo: The rally concluded at Olvera Park, in which marchers participated in a card show to create a postcard to be sent to President Obama. The card show involved almost 2,000 participants, standing within a 13 by 152 grid. Altogether, the red and white cards spelled out, “Workers first.”



Regents to meet via teleconference

The upcoming UC Board of Regents bimonthly meeting, which was originally intended to be at UC San Diego from Tuesday until Thursday, will now be held via teleconference on Thursday morning, according to a University of California press release. Read more...
