Professor protests Satan’s modern image

While Professor Henry Kelly began studying God and the Bible to become a priest, he now studies Satan to better understand the biblical figure. A UCLA English professor emeritus, Kelly was training to be a Jesuit priest when he was younger and found many inconsistencies between the current depiction of Satan as the horned, evil ruler of hell and the Satan that was described in the Bible. UCLA asks for more hospital funds

UCLA officials asked the UC Board of Regents for an additional $308 million to complete construction on two new hospitals Tuesday. If the funding is approved, the Ronald Reagan Medical Center in Westwood will receive more than half the money, and the remainder will go to the UCLA-Santa Monica Medical Center. Read more...
