Connerly owes an apology for his statements

University of California Regent Ward Connerly owes the public an apology. During an appearance on CNN recently, Connerly said he does not think Senator Trent Lott is racist and that “one can believe in segregation and believe in equality of races.” Connerly has a right to hold whatever opinions he wishes.
