Professors’ voter survey to track opinions weekly leading up to 2020 election

Two UCLA professors said they hope to gain a better understanding of American democracy with a nationwide survey leading up to the 2020 general elections. The project, called Nationscape, aims to collect information on voter opinions leading up to the elections. Read more...

UCPD increases electric scooter violation enforcement, citing rise in complaints

University police have ramped up enforcement of electric scooter violations since week five. UCPD Lt. Kevin Kilgore said more officers are patrolling campus and are ready to give citations or warnings to students that go through pedestrian zones and sidewalks while using e-scooters and bicycles.
