Study predicts billions in state revenue will be in jeopardy if Prop 6 passes

A new study suggests repealing a transportation tax bill could cost the state approximately $100 billion in revenue over the next two decades. Lyft unveils subscription plan, but UCLA suggests more sustainable options exist

Commuter students now have another option to get to campus with a new monthly subscription plan released by ride-share company Lyft. Lyft released a monthly subscription plan earlier this month that charges passengers an upfront price of $299 per month to get 30 rides for up to $15 each, offering customers a long-term method of transportation. $2M endowment to fund mentorship program in economics department

UCLA’s department of economics received $2 million to fund a mentorship program for students pursuing careers in finance. The donation from Kevin Albert, a co-founder of the Sharpe Fellows Program, will be used to establish the Albert Family Career Development Endowed Fund within the economics department. Read more...
