UCLA to establish cancer research center with funds from $250M donation

Napster co-founder Sean Parker donated $250 million to establish a cancer research center at UCLA and five other centers nationwide, UCLA officials announced Wednesday. Parker, chairman of the Parker Foundation, which funds several cancer research organizations, said in a press release he hopes the grant will assist the six cancer research facilities in developing immune therapies for cancer. GSA forum to present charges against President Milan Chatterjee

The graduate student government will present charges against its president at a meeting Wednesday evening. If the charges come to a vote and two-thirds of all seated delegates vote to impeach, the UCLA Graduate Students Association President Milan Chatterjee will be removed from office. Read more...
