State auditor finds UC failed to complete 2017 budget audit recommendations

Three-day union worker strike to interrupt dining, custodial services

UCLA students living in residence halls will experience limited dining options during a three-day workers’ strike next week. The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Local 3299, which represents service workers at the University of California, will go on a strike from Monday to Wednesday. USAC election sanction – May 3

The undergraduate student government election board issued three sanctions Thursday. Victoria Solkovits, a Bruins United candidate running for external vice president, was sanctioned for not tagging the USAC Election Board at UCLA page and not including the #USACVote18 hashtag on a campaign-related Facebook post. Around 16 students gathered Wednesday to put up a new pride flag on the Academic Affairs Commission’s office that was stolen last week. The flag, which hung in front of the office’s door, was put up to show support for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community, said Academic Affairs Commissioner Divya Sharma.
